Owned by Dan and Linda Sikorra who are property owners in Fontana Lake Estates and Rockledge, Fontana Realty seeks to provide opportunities for others to invest in this magnificent area of the Great Smoky Mountains.
The Sikorra’s grew up in the Midwest and spent time in Florida before moving to North Carolina. Prior to becoming real estate professionals, Dan earned a degree in accounting and held various executive positions. Linda has worked in the medical profession and held various corporate positions in human resources, product development & real estate. Both Dan and Linda refined their knowledge and skills in real estate in Charlotte, NC. Linda is 2015 President for our Local Board of Realtors.
Our eyes were opened so when the opportunity availed itself, we moved to Charlotte NC, to be closer to the Smokies. We took every opportunity to vacation in Bryson City, a fun and vibrant town where we could enjoy all the surrounding outdoor activities. Our love for the land deepened as we hiked or ran trails through the Great Smoky Mountain National Park appreciating the beautiful wildlife and enjoying the hundreds of miles of mountain streams. When we wanted more action, we threw our mountain bikes in the boat and motored over to Tsali Recreation Area for some single track action. What a way to travel – the boat ride on Fontana Lake covers some of the most pristine lake wilderness areas in the southeast and if I was lucky enough to have another person with me we’d water ski on the way back.
We have always loved and dabbled in real estate. We invested in our 1st Fontana Lake property in 1996 and a while later moved to the area full time and opened Fontana Realty. Now we are able to help others share our dream by selling hard to find lake access properties in the area.
Our excitement and love for the area and the people who live here grow deeper over time. When one finds something very good, in order to truly enjoy it, it must be shared – and that is where we find ourselves today!
Dan and Linda have five grown children and eight grandchildren.

Sarah Crawford Miller, Sales Assistant is a native of Macon County and fell in love with Bryson City through her years boating and working on the Nantahala River. These mountains are her home and playground so in her free time you can catch Sarah hiking a nearby trail, paddling the many creeks and rivers or floating in the clean cooling waters of beautiful lake Fontana. After Sarah achieved her BFA in film-making at UNC School of the Arts she traveled the world living and working in places such as New Zealand, Central America, The Virgin Islands and several major US cities. But the love for her Western North Carolina home brought her and husband Noah Miller back to our beautiful town in 2017. Because she knows that adventure awaits in the wilderness Sarah is an advocate for our tourism industry. She helps promote local businesses and supports our elected officials with there push to increase sidewalks and river access points for fishing and boaters here in city limits. Due to her passion for the land and local area she has pursued a career in Real Estate and is our newest licensee with a top notch education from Cumbie and Trull in Asheville NC. “I feel so fortunate to be able to learn and grow with the very best in the industry and look forward to helping you find your WNC mountain dream.”
